What 2 grocery items are super easy to grow, can take neglect, drought, but can be expensive? They are Goji berries and Saffron spice. Goji berries are hardy plants that are drought tolerant, disease resistant, growing in zones 5-10 Saffron Crocus. It’s a drought tolerant, hardy perennial that blooms in fall. Plant the bulbs in clusters about 3″-4″ deep in sunny to partially sunny spots in your garden. It is a perennial in zones 6-9. Health Benefits- Goji berries Goji berries can help vision because they contain high levels of healthy antioxidants, especially zeaxanthin.
